Porsche 911 ( 991 ) Cayman & Boxster 981 PCM 3.1 – Reversing Camera Kit ( 2012 to 2015 )

This is our Reversing Camera Kit for Porsche PCM 3.1  – It is a full Retrofit kit for Porsche 911 ( 991 ) Boxster and Cayman ( 981 ) model years: 2012 to 2015 and it also fits the Macan from 2012 to 2015. It works on cars with both the Manual and the PDK Gearbox. This kit is NOT Suitable for cars with DAB Radio ( Typically 2015 / 2016 Models came with DAB Radio ) The PCM 3.1 must have a software version above 4.00 and NOT have the Factory Fitted TV Tuner. ( To check your software press the Car button on the PCM then option on the screen followed by software ) The kit comes with: A Plug & Play interface that shows the Reversing Camera image on the vehicles factory fitted PCM3.1 screen. The kit displays parking sensors via the car icon but only if you already have optical parking sensors fitted, if you do not have parking sensors or if they only beep then you will not have the icon on the camera screen but will still show the ‘Dynamic Parking Guidelines’ that move with the steering and show the projected trajectory of the vehicle. Once out of Reverse Gear the cameras picture will still be displayed on screen until the car reaches 10 mph when it will switch back to its Radio Display Function. This package comes supplied with an OBD programmer unit that plugs in at the fuse box at the footwell – This will put the vehicles PCM unit into service mode and automatically program it in less than a minute – Once used you are welcome to return the OBD programmer for a £60 refund. This Reversing Camera kit looks & feels like it was fitted at the factory. The camera supplied with the kit is our low voltage NTSC wedge style camera designed to fit directly between the two rear number plate lamps to replicate the factory camera.
